2015-2016 School Year!
ACS Egham
On the first day of school, we all kept saying, "It's SO great NOT to be new! It's SOOO great not to be new!"
I can't believe how much more enjoyable this has been starting school on a great campus we were already familiar with! Even the kids were happy to not be "the new kids".
They all bounded out the door ready for the school year. We still get to have Dave as our bus driver and he makes the kids laugh as they get on the bus. It makes me smile everyday at how
the kids love going to school. It's a pretty good sign of a great school.

Visiting Warwick Castle with the Frost's
Alyson and I decided to jump into the car and drive up Warwick castle for the day with the kids.
Ike, Tyler and Caitee were at EFY in Nottingham for the week.

Inside the Castle - The Great Hall
Anne and Anne (aka Anne Sandwich) found the oldest thing in the castle.
It's a fossil in the stone floor of the Great Hall - I think there were 9 around the the
room and you had to search to find them.

Cool surprise...we met and had these three fine young men (good friends of the Remington's) come and stay with us for a couple of nights. They are studying at BYU and just finished a summer semester at Cambridge. They were traveling all over Europe together and needed a home base before they flew back to the states.

SEVEN SISTERS!
I finally talked my family and friends (Frost's and the Carroll's) into driving to the southern coast towards Eastbourn, to hike Seven Sisters. It was a beautiful day and similar to the White Cliffs of Dover.

A lucky find for me, that I could call two fabulous ladies to jump on the train for
last minute tickets to the final showing of 39 Steps. Shauna McHenrey and Julia Hunt were so much fun to spend time with in London..... Have I mentioned.. I really enjoy these amazing people I've been able to meet AND being so close to London?? AAHHHH! I love it!

Hampton Court Palace
K, This is a fun palace to go and visit. Henry VIII and Anne Bohlin
built this palace and it is extraordinary. Its the 500 year anniversary so we go to
wear royal cloaks during our tour.

Pictures don't do this hall justice! Its architecture and design is truly amazing. Very ornate.

Anne is an intense little soccer player and has enjoyed playing this season.
She was even asked to float to the top team when the older girls were gone for different reasons.
