The Taylor Family!
We were so happy to spend a day with the Taylor's: Erika, Darren and their children, Cala, Chelsea and Connor! They spent their precious time to stop in and see us. It was SO fabulous to catch up for a fun afternoon.
In Greenwich, London outside the Royal Naval College
Site-seeing became a second priority as soon as we started talking! haha
View from that Royal Observatory..you can see the O2 stadium in the background.
(It's the white dome with the yellow spikes coming out of it.)
We went inside the planetarium and saw one of the oldest rocks on the planet! It's billions of years old.
You can see Ike is completely amazed!
The Prime Meridian!
There's something really cool about standing on the east and west side of the world.
Josh, Ty and Connor
Chelsea and Anne - they didn't miss a beat catching up. Talkative, happy girls!
Ike and Cala - (yes, Ike was rather happy and quite upbeat this day! haha)
BENGALURU, INDIA
Spence went on a business trip to India. Here are some pics from his time over there.
This is with his boss, Richard Clarke and I'm not sure who.
The team they were training.
Spencer said they were the NICEST group of people and he really enjoyed his time there.
Dead cow on rubbish....yikes...they don't eat beef because one of their gods is a cow.
ACS Activites!
Ike heading off to his two-day hiking/camping trip for Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Level Award.
(You see those cute legs?...I encouraged trousers, but he wanted shorts..
he came back with heaps of mosquito bites!)
Ty dressing up as a swimmer for his student council party. He is SO funny!
BOX HILL
BOX HILL
My neighbor, Danielle's, mom (Mary) was visiting while Danielle had to travel for work. Mary and I got to talking out in the front of our homes, and became instant friends. We went hiking for the day to Box Hill and it was an absolutely glorious and beautiful day. Mary is an absolute GEM of a person and we had the nicest day together.
The stepping stones across the river and to the next charming bridge.
ACS Sports Day
Team yellow! Joshy's sports day!
Because Ty is on the Student Council, he was a team leader for the Lower Grades.
It was really sweet watching him organize his little team.
Josh was the tug-o-war anchor!

Anne's Track Meet
Anne with her darling friend, Hannah Barron, at their track meet in Cobham.
Just starting to get ready to race...
A day in London with Mary/ Covent Garden side streets...
Leaden hall Market - one of the film sites for the Harry Potter films!
One of the most amazing British department stores. Wow! Liberty is high-end!
Neal's Yard is a little hidden diamond, probably known more to the locals.
SO charming with little artisan restaurants and boutiques.
A year ago I met this sweet young woman, Swathi, from India on a bike tour in Amsterdam.
We swapped emails and I honestly never thought I'd hear from her. But she kept in contact and this year traveled the world with her 75 year old grandmother and we met up for lunch in London! It was so much fun to see her again. What a remarkable person. (She's 15!! She called me 'Auntie Brittany'. I thought she was in university this whole time. She has an incredibly strong spirit and drive for life. Very brave and intelligent.)
Memorial Day
