25 Days - Light the World

December Treasures!
So I wouldn't say we necessarily "Lit the World" haha, we tried and loved the challenge the Church issued, but we definitely packed it in this December with some memorable and fun times. December is probably my favorite time in England as it just feel so magical with all the concerts and plays and lights up everywhere. I love it.
FAIRYTALE COURTROOM!
We started off the month with Anne's MS production of "The Fairytale Courtroom". It was SO funny! Anne lit-up the stage as she played the Big Bad Wolf in the first half and Snow White in the second half.

Great fans!
The swearing in by the Bailiff...
Anne stole the show with her part as Wolfie on the trial during her monologue. It was down-right hilarious.
This was her "questioning" Little Red Riding Hood (Sophia) as to her misunderstandings..She thought she was "invited" to Grandmothers house and why would she eat her??? She's a vegetarian!

Here she is as a witness against the Wicked Witch of the West. But the plot became especially funny when she and Sleeping Beauty got into quite a spat when they both realize Prince Charming was "two-timing" them!
The script had all sorts of funny twists!

Biggest fans!! They were all so proud of her! I loved seeing the boys enthusiasm for her when she was on stage.

ROYAL ALBERT HALL
Year 3 of coming to this magical place! Ty's grade 5 class all participated in preparing and singing at this great event and Anne had joined as an upper class man in the choir. It was another amazing and fantastic evening!
Ty and Anne were able to be in the choir together.
Those smiles slay me!!
Hannah, Anne, Max Ty and Nico
 Max, Ty, Nico and Jamie
Josh and Gram-Gram were amazing fans!

Grandma and Grandpa were there to enjoy this fun, fun event with us!

They were really high up in the stands this year so it was almost impossible to get any great shots of them. Luckily Anne took a few with her phone. I love this shot of the two of them together.

Funny Ty!

Anne at her Digital Leadership presentation
Anne applied and was picked to be one of the Digital Leaders in the school. They are responsible for setting up certain event for kids and parents to learn more about digital technology on campus. She's getting pretty savvy!

Anne is such a little hustler and plays hard the ENTIRE game.

Ty's Grade 5 Winter Party
I was in charge of the Grade 5 party this year. I think it turned out okay! They kids all seemed really enjoy it.

Sleeping Beauty Christmas Panto!

Grandma and Grandpa got us tickets for Christmas! We had such a great time and laughed and laughed.

It was really well done and very very funny.

Boys Choir at St. Georges Chapel in Windsor Castle
Peascod Street up to the castle
In October I waited by my phone for the lines to open to book tickets to this Christmas Event.
This is when the Boy's choir sing their Christmas selection. Brilliant sound!!
I was able to get two tickets for me and Barb, for her birthday, to sit in the quire! It was amazing!
This is what the Quire looks like..
and this it the shot I got before they snapped at me and told me "no pictures!" Whoops!
Barb and I just loved it and she was the BEST! She kept saying, "This is so wonderful! And we are sitting in seats where royals have sat for hundreds of years!" It was a FUN evening.
ACS Winter Concert!
Ty played the keyboard in the Lower School Rock Band!
Josh and his mates before the performance began.
Ty with his teacher Daniel Jekey (from Hungary)
Ty was chosen by the Head of Music to be one of two students to do a solo performance.
He played, "You ain't never had a friend like me" from Aladdin.
I had to choke back the tears! He was absolutely brilliant!
