Scouts, Sports, Festivals and Tournaments!

Life's little achievement can be some of our greatest joys!

Anne played point guard and did an excellent job. She could handle the ball really well.

Anne rolled her ankel and the medic was quick on the job and also told her,
"You're the best little player out there!"
Ike shooting around in the gym with Ben Cambra
Josh continues to LOVE football with his Ascot Charger team.
Paul and Steve are great coaches for these boys.
Josh DOES NOT give up till he scores a goal! Last game he did a 'hat trick!'
Three-goals in one game! GO JOSH!
Josh was invited to Lauren's birthday party.
He was a little nervous when he first arrived as he was the ONLY boy.
Luckily, Dominic and Benj showed up and Josh was then very happy with the numbers!

Ty and Anne entered and passed with Merit and Distinction their grade 1 levels for piano.
They had to play three pieces, perform certain scales when asked,
site read some music and then look at sheet music and hum the tune for the examiner.
They practiced hard. It was a good experience for them.
Lisbon Tournament!
Ike was invited by the Varsity coach to travel with his team to Lisbon, Portugal to play in a basketball tournament. They swept the tournament and Ike was named one of the 'All-Tourney'Players.
He got to stay with a host family which he said was so much fun. He had a GREAT time.

The number 4 is for ACS's fourth time winning this tournament
Spencer flew in from Ireland to Portugal with Ike's Young Men's leader, Jason Carroll to watch the tournament. Jason served his mission there 20 years ago. They had a blast.

I took Anne, Ty and Josh over to the ceramic painting shop and we painted for an afternoon.
They made the cutest creations.
 Bro-skie's getting ready for church
Ty out with Dad, earning his cooking pin for scouts.
Anne, Ty and Josh invited their friends Hannah and Nico Barron and
Jamie Ruiz Del Arbol to swim in the pool together.
I was invited by Josh's Grade 2 teacher to come in as a "mystery reader" one morning!
The kids loved "The Great Fuzz Frenzie!"
Touring the Windsor Castle Kitchen.
After I took this picture, I was given the glare of public shame, by one of the guides, for taking it.
I didn't realize we weren't supposed to.

Painshill's Chrystal Grotto
I was able to invite two mom's from ACS to come with us to the beautiful park of Painshill in Cobham.
Anne, Ty and Josh, Benjamin (& Kate) Griffith and Taryn, Dominic (& Carrie) Lee.
We were spoiled with a beautiful day and really enjoyed our time there together.

 Inside the crystal grotto

Anne and Ty used my camera and took some cute photos

A close-up of the crystals which were painstakingly hand-placed.
